Why Quizzing? Nice Question!!
As a quizzer, you need to have a mind that appreciates the odd and strange facts. You need to be able to look at the offbeat things in any subject.And then, of course, there is the sheer competitive thrill of testing memory and ability to work out answers on stage in a limited time. It's a stimulating mind game.
I have been quizzing right from my childhood thanks to my brothers who have excelled in quizzing at all levels.
I started with inter-school quizzes and was part of a team that won many inter school quizzes in Chennai. I graduated to open quizzes and had limited sucess and endless fun in participating in the quizzes.
As a quizzer,my most prestigious moments were during the BBC Mastermind India quiz wherein I reached the semifinals.

Sitting in the black chair was indeed a great moment as a quizzer. The atmosphere and the prestige associated with the show which has no prize money and quizzers participate only for honour is truly a lifetime experience.
The quarterfinals was recorded at St Stephen's College, New Delhi. My specialised subject was 'Life and Times of Moshe Dayan'. The clips from the telecasted show can be found here

My passion for conducting quizzes has originated from my passion of quizzing. I have conducted quiz show for all levels including school children, college students, business houses, military academies, open public all over India and abroad. Asking a simple piece of trivia in the most exciting way gives me the thrills in life. I believe a good quiz is one in which all questions are answered, but after a little of mental gymnastics!
